volunteer roles
Aside from dancers/choreographers, the following roles are also available. If you would like to contribute in any of these roles, please contact us.

•    Art-Director
o    The art-director will work with dancers and pieces that would like help to coordinate the “look” of their performance.  This person will also coordinate the visual set-up between pieces, lighting, ambiance in the room, art on walls, backdrops, projection onto a screen, etc.  They don’t have to do it all themselves, but may create a team to help with this work.

•    Sound Technician/Director
o    This person will do sound set-up and run sound throughout the performance, including the music for the performances, a microphone and any background music that might be required; may also do a compilation of the music for the different dance pieces to be used at the show.

•    Welcome/Door People
o    A team of people to welcome people to the venue, to take tickets/money, to hand-out programs and to welcome people into the room.

•    Program Designer
o    Someone to design the program.

•    Set-up/Clean-up Crew

•    Finger-Food Coordinator
o    Someone who could coordinate some healthy finger-food (veggies, fruit, dips, crackers) for our audience and performers for after the show.

•    "Outside eyes” 
o     people who are interested to provide aesthetic feedback to works in progress by attending group rehearsals, when invited.  These people will coach on performance and other aspects of the piece.

•    Videographers/Video Editors 
o    People who are willing to videotape and edit the footage.  (These could be separate individuals); Someone willing to coordinate getting footage of individual pieces to the dancers in each piece.

•    Photographers 
o     People who are willing to take photographs at the performance and even maybe at rehearsals, and be willing to send photographs to dancers who request them.

•    Website 
o    Someone to update the website for the project, which would feature a description of the vision of the project, resources, bios and videos/photos of the performances (ultimately), and descriptions of the completed works. The website will be helpful for future projects and to apply for future funding.
